Studio Memberships function in a similar way to a gym membership. (I mean, we totally are singing athletes!)

If you miss a lesson, that is a-okay. Know that your membership is still working for you as your teacher is continuing to research, plan, prepare, and invest in your education and development.

Studio Memberships are for a minimum of 6 months. Following this, Studio Memberships roll over month to month.

Lesson Packages are for the stated duration in your package description outlined in Acuity at the time of registration.

All fees are non-refundable.

If you need to miss a session, you can opt to use an alternative lesson option, such as Marco Polo video messaging, or have Nicky work on a special interest project.

Marco Polo is a video messaging app that allows you to work asynchronously with your coach in lieu of a live lesson. You can send recordings of you rehearsing on your own or with an ensemble, or even use the time to ask questions.

Special interest projects can be designed collaboratively between you and Nicky and may be short or longer term tasks. Projects will be worked on during the scheduled lesson time, and as such need to be planned out and agreed on ahead of time.

Non-singing lessons are also a great way to use the time together on days where singing isn't an option. This could mean that we listen to recordings and analyse them together, explore a little bit of vocal pedagogy together (using human-friendly language, of course!), discuss mindset and performance day routines, or anything else your heart desires.

You, wonderful singer, are welcome (and encouraged) to record our sessions.

All content in our sessions is my (Nicky McGrath) intellectual property. Do not share this content publicly on any platform for public viewing without my consent.

To cancel your Studio Membership (after the initial 6 months) or Annual Studio Membership (after the initial 12 months), a calendar month of notice is required in writing (email: hello@nickymcgrath.com).

For example, if you cancel on the 15th of the month, your membership will continue until the end of the following calendar month.

Studio Membership fees are charged on the 1st of each month for the month ahead and are non-refundable.

Your monthly membership fee remains the same each month, even if we see each other for 3 weeks or 5 weeks or anything on either side.

Being a studio member means work is still being done on your behalf even between lessons.
